I have decided…

I could feel Him breaking down

I could hear Him cry

I could see Him shattered

My Lord was in pain…all these days,

When I choose to go the wrong way

A way that leads to pleasures of the world

How could I??? How could I???

My Father decided to save me from the world

He wanted me badly

He sent His angels down…. to protect me, to guard me

I took it lightly, I took it low

But the presence of the Spirit began to fill n glow

I was exposed to the truth that changed my life

A life full of joy; A life with Jesus Christ

He is my savior, He is my God

I stand up with pride and say ‘Praise The Lord’

He changed me inside out

Now I have no fear, I have no doubt

He has some promises for me, I do believe

Just waiting for it to be revealed......

I would never let You cry, let You go never

I have decided to follow You…. Now and Forever

Created to become like "Christ"

God said 'Let us make human in our own image and likeness'
Among all of His creations, God chose human to be like Him; His image and likeness. It is indeed a great previlege for us.

What makes us different from other beings includes aspects like:
1. Being Intellectual- We are capable to think, respond and solve problems.
2. Being Relational- We can give as well as receive love.
3. Having Moral consciousness- We can discern right from wrong.
4. Spiritual beings- Our spirits are immortal unlike other earthly beings.

God doesnot want us to become a god, but wants us to be godly. He wants us to change our character and not our personality.

How do we do it?????
Simple, we hav to keep three points in our mind:
1. Choose to let go of old ways of acting.
Just leave evrything behind and start with a new journey towards life
2. Change the way we think
Try to think in a different way, bring those thoughts in your mind that enriches your body and Spirit.Change youselves inside out.
3. Develop new, godly habbits
Try to be like God; the way He lived a holy life. And to know that you just have to read the Word

What type of healing do you wish to get????

Mathew chap 9:2

And they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, "Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven."
Here, what we observe is, instead of Jesus telling "your are healed" He said "your sins are forgiven"..
We see two types of healing here:- Spiritual healing and Physical healing.
We have to concentrate on the healing that we require.

We may get a physical healing by a physician..but only Jesus can provide us Spiritual healing.
We must see how He used his powers to heal Spiritual sickness rather than Physical ones.
He understood that rather than healing the paralytic man physically, he needed Spiritual healing.......the man's body as well as Spirit were paralysed with sins. We should know that physical healing was not Jesus's concern. He wanted to give us physical healing so that we believe in Him and thus our souls be rescued from sins.
As soon as the man's sins were forgiven he got up and walked... Amazing...

This verse leads us to think and know that we need our sins to be forgiven if we want healing...both Spiritual and physical..

I would love to hear your comments as well add up your points.

THE LOST SHEEP…

Jesus said “ If one of you had hundred sheeps and lost one, would you not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness and go looking for the lost one until you find it. And when you find, you would carry it home on your back full of joy. Then you call your friends and neighbors and say “ Rejoice I have found my LOST SHEEP.”

The Lost Sheep that I am talking about is none other than me who found my salvation in Christ our Lord. He came all the way searching for me when I was lost in wilderness. He saw my agony n wept wit me. He assured me a place in heaven if I promised to follow him without turning back. He’s indeed an amazing God.

A normal life in this abnormal world is all that I wished. With the flow of materialistic and mechanic world I moved ahead. Everything was so perfect.

I had and still have a happy family life. My routine life included regular college, going 2 church once in a month, which according to me was very satisfactory. In short I lived a Christian life without Christ in it…. Huh!!! Now that’s weird.

Since everything was happy and gay I never felt a need to approach God for anything.

I dint know God personally so I didn’t have any challenges or trials in life.

On 15th of July 2004 I joined college of nursing for my further studies. I was very excited to live hostel life, in simple words I was all set to get spoilt.

I made choices not good in the eyes of our Lord. My days were filled with depression and grieve stricken. I was struggling each day to find peace and love.

God was watching this from above. He made a wonderful plan for me. When I entered my third year of nursing, I found few friends who where close to God and really wanted me to join this journey. Initially I took it very lightly, but as time passed, God started to play an important role in my life. I achieved an amazing peace and love in His Company. It started changing me.

I was encountered by the Holy Spirit on 28th Dec 2007. I could see a ray of light falling on me and a voice saying.. “ I choose you”. It shook me. It didn’t take time for me to realize that God has chosen me for work.

The song that exclusively comes in my mind is

“ I’ll be somewhere…

… Working for my Lord”

A song of inspiration, along with few friends to guide and inspire me for this journey…to push me closer to God.

After knowing God I faced many trials and temptations. But that shouldn’t discourage any of us. It’s just a test to check whether are you really up to your goal. It did disturb me, confuse me. But now God has given me the strength to face the tests.

Before I was born I was conceived in God’s mind. I’m no accident. I’m here for God’s purpose.

Through my testimony I wanted to share how God entered my life permanently, how I grew closer to Him, how he forgave a sinner… ‘A way too big’ sinner like me.

This is the time and opportunity for you to come closer to God. Submit yourselves to Him.

Doesn’t matter how much or how big you have sinned, our God has a big and merciful heart, enough to forgive u.

All you have to do is Repent and believe. He’ll be glad to come searching for His next lost sheep
